Social competence

In owner managed companies those people make decisions who also take the responsibility for the consequences by means of their property. As a confirmation to this statement, LASEROPTIK´s status as a family business does not only facilitate the long term growth and continuous reinvestments in the company, it also helps to give our employees, customers and suppliers a reliable perspective. In addition, the employees take advantage of profit-sharing.

Whereas a couple of employees have been with LASEROPTIK from the very foundation, some are here more than 20 years and many others more than 10 years. An informal daily get-together helps to keep up the communication with all departments. A part of the working climate and culture at LASEROPTIK is also represented by company outings and our annual family events such as ball rolling ("Boßeln") across the fields in wintertime, summer parties and excursions.

The compatibility of family and work is a widely discussed issue and LASEROPTIK intends to respect family related needs concerning work. As one measure the company has founded a corporate childcare for employeesÌ children starting at the age of 1 year.

The "LASEROPTIK-Strolche" (Strolche = vagabonds) are looked after by our kindergarten educator and occupy the upper floor of the "Optikscheune", as long as they don´t play outside.
